On the surface, weight loss approaches can sound easy. Just eat less and move more – right? But it is not always easy to do or to keep off.
During this month, the group learned how they burn energy each day, the calorie deficit required to lose 1 pound of weight, and the impact food and exercise has on weight management. They discussed their reasons for managing weight, how to set reasonable weight goals, and how to maintain long-term lifestyle changes.

Dedham Health & Athletic Complex offers a monthly Diabetes Forum & Support Group meeting. It is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 – 11: 00 am in the Dedham Health Theater.
