Blood sugar readings and A1c results provide important information about your diabetes management. However, if you don’t understand how the timing of food, exercise, and medication affects day to day, week to week and month to month readings, these numbers can easily become confusing and discouraging.
The attendees reviewed the general targets for blood sugar readings, when and how often it would be helpful for them to check, how to make sure the meter is providing accurate results, and how all of this is reflected in their A1c result.
