Week 6: Increasing your intake of fruits, vegetables, and fiber
Here is an overview of what will be covered in this class:
We learned in grade school that we should be eating 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. And we learned as adults that this can be a challenge! Fruits and vegetables naturally include fiber as part of their nutritional makeup. They also supply many of the vitamins and minerals necessary for our health. So with all of these benefits, why is it so difficult for us to include them in our diet?
This class will teach you how to build a healthy plate around fruits and vegetables and how much fiber you should eat per day. The group will also discuss and share tips on how to enjoy more fruits and vegetables each and every day.
