Salt Pure Pools
Both of our indoor swimming pools - the adults only lap pool and the family pool - are salt pure. Salt pure pools use natural salt to create a sanitized environment instead of chlorine. As a result, your eyes will not get irritated, you will not have dry skin and you will not have a post-swim chlorine smell. After experiencing our beautiful indoor pools, you will not want to swim anywhere else!
Our family pool spans 25 yards, while our adults only lap pool is 25 meters. Choose the length that best compliments your training style!
Each pool has direct access to clean, modern bathrooms and changing facilities.
Why Swim?
• Low Impact, Full Body Workout
• Improved coordination
• Decreased chance of obesity
• Improved oxygen delivery to muscles
• Minimal impact on joints
• Release of endorphins

Swim Lessons for Spring 2013! Swim Lessons for Summer 2013! Registration Form |
We offer year-round swim lessons in our indoor "salt pure" family pool. All Ages Welcome! We run various levels of class simultaneously, which is great for siblings.
All of our classes are guaranteed to have:
6:1 student to instructor ratios
Certified instructors
Licensed lifeguards
Heated pool
Clean and newly updated locker facilities
Our swim lessons start as young as 6 months of age. Why start so young? Because it is becoming increasingly more important for children to start developing swimming techniques to protect them from the dangers of drowning. Learning to swim - particularly at an early age - allows children to enjoy the water in a safe and fun environment while giving you a sense of comfort. Our focus is on improving the childs comfort, coordination and skill.
In addition to obtaining certification in swim education, each of our instructors works to connect with your child in a fun and secure environment. Swimming is more than a skill. Swimming is fun! We have taught many children - even some who disliked the water - how to swim. Let us share our child-centric and individualized approach to swim class with your family.

Swim team - The DHAC Hydras!
The Benefits of Being a Hydra
The Dedham Health and Athletic Complex will provide an ideal competitive swimming program for creating opportunity to all ages and abilities through structured and professional instruction. Our goal is to become a developmental program that strives to create fast swimmers
The DHAC Hydras swim team's philosophy is to create strong people in, as well as out of the water. We instill self esteem, good sportsmanship, teamwork and individual hard work in a fun, yet competitive environment.
Our coaches, unlike most, will get in the water with your children to further explain swimming. Learning by example is the best way for your kids to become better swimmers.
Congratulations to the 2012 Hydras!

We are currently enrolling the following age groups:
• Titans: 10 years & under
• Olympians: 11 - 18 years
