What is Bodypump?
If you have been a member here at Dedham Health within the last 20 years, then you have probably heard the name Bodypump floating around, mostly pertaining to group fitness. Bodypump is one of our most popular and longest standing classes here at DHAC. So what is it? Bodypump is a weight training group fitness program created in New Zealand by a company called Les Mills. Using light to moderate weights with high repetitions, you’ll exhaust the muscles, burn calories, and strengthen and tone your entire body. The class is choreographed to fun upbeat music and with the guidance and motivation from your certified instructor. You’re sure to leave the class feeling challenged, inspired and ready for more!
Now that you know a little more about Bodypump, what better time than the newest launch to try it out?! On Saturday January 28th and Monday January 30th, we are hosting a Bodypump Launch to promote their 100th release! Bodypump releases new music and choreography for their classes 4 times a year and we are celebrating their 100th release (and 25 years of Bodypump) at Bodypump 100!
We’re hosting Bodypump 100 not one but TWO days this month. These two classes will be held during two of our regular class times, Saturday 1/28 at 10:15am and Monday 1/30 at 7:05pm and you’ll be taught by FIVE of your favorite Bodypump instructors! Come by for a good time and a killer workout!
