Some people are blessed with a sunny disposition. (We so envy those folks who just naturally look on the bright side of life). Others of us seem destined to live a life full of struggle. Whether it be financial worries, wrestling with health and body image issues, or searching to find the perfect love to share life with. Why are so many of us struggling?
It’s taken many years for us to realize that it all boils down to attitude. Life is not perfect, and it never will be, but how we deal with the imperfections of life makes all the difference. One of the best ways to have an attitude adjustment is to practice gratitude. It’s amazing how everything shifts when we start to focus on what’s good in life rather than what’s missing. It’s ironic that the less we focus on ourselves and our wants, the more the universe gives us exactly what we need! Like attracts like, so if you’re stuck in a negative spiral, what better time than Thanksgiving to incorporate gratitude into your daily life. When we recognize all that our bodies do for us, we will take better care of ourselves. We encourage you to start today to really appreciate your bodies.
As you start being grateful for the body you are blessed with, care for it as though it were the most precious gift, because it is.
