Four years ago I decided I had to do something, because I was tipping the scale at 350 pounds, so I looked into lap band surgery and after much research and talking to other people who had it done I decided to go with it. So I had the surgery and was told by the doctors and the nutritionist that I had to change my eating habits and lifestyle.
I started eating less and began walking and I started to lose the weight, but I felt like it was a slow process and in my head I thought it should have been much quicker cause I was eating less and I was walking every day something that I had not done in the past.
Then about a year ago, my friend Kathy told me about the 60/60 program at Dedham Health and Athletic Club. So, I checked it out. I joined the program in October 2013 figuring if it works it works and if not I would only be out $60.00. Well it worked. Going twice a week to see my trainer made me more responsible than just trying to do it on my own and I ended up going more than the required twice a week because it was working and I felt so motivated. I was taking weight off, I felt great, and had lots of energy. I graduated from the program after the 60 days was up and joined as a regular member of the club.
This decision to join has truly changed my life for the better. I go to the club 4 to 5 times a week. I take a few of the classes like aqua fit, trail mix, and abs express in addition to my regular routine that was made to fit my needs. The trainers are great and are there to help you no matter what the question or issue you are having.
Joining Dedham Health & Athletic Club has changed my life; maybe you should give them a chance too!!
