I’ll give you two guesses as to what Piloxing is…Nothing? Ok! Well, the correct answer is “a hybrid of standing Pilates and traditional Boxing stances and punches. There is one other ingredient and that is dance, but don’t let that make you uncomfortable! This class will push you to your limits for sure, and take you a little out of your comfort box (no boxing pun intended!) for a non-stop interval class. The benefits from the Pilates piece is that it will help with grace, body balance, and create a sexy and strong self-image. The boxing element will create mental stimulation and build power and confidence. The dance inspiration will allow us to let loose and enjoy being in the moment. You know what else…IT BURNS A TON OF CALORIES!!! I mean a TON!
I was very intrigued by this class when I heard about it. I love to box and dance but Pilates was new to me in the way of teaching it. That part of the class really spoke to me the most. I walked out of training not sore at all and actually feeling taller and elongated. I am very eager and happy to share my experience in Piloxing with everyone so please join me on Monday nighst at 6pm in studio 5!
