Have you ever eaten the same food over and over again? Worn the same type of socks? Used the same color eye shadow? Well maybe that’s more me, but the thing is…it gets a little stale. Spring always seems to stem change within and here at DHAC we made some changes to the Group Fitness for All schedule to help you make your own fitness changes.
Here is what is new to you… Monday and Friday we have added a Stott Mat Pilates class at 10:30 with Stacy. Stacy is one of three new instructors here, and you can meet her husband Tuesday morning in Cycle class. That’s right Steven Ross is her hubbie. What a great fitness couple they make.
You will find another new Instructor on the schedule. Karen is here to teach Core Fusion Yoga 7am on Wednesdays. This class is for all levels inviting you to ramp up your breath, re-align your spine, and awaken your abs like never before! Karen says you will discover your inner warrior.
Another new class you will see is a unique one with it being held on our indoor track. Jason got rave reviews when we had to take trail mix up above. We took that as a hint to add this class on the schedule for you. Meet him Wednesday at 9am to improve your running are simply learn how intervals can get you ready for your first road race.
Simply Stretch has made in onto the morning schedule with Sarah C. This wonderful class mixing stretching and relaxation will be found Thursdays at 10:45.
Sarah C. has taken her abs class to next level by adding 10 more minutes, and with her in charge that will be enough. She is adding low back to the mix which we all know is very important. Join her Friday at 9:00am.
Piloxing, new to the fitness scene is being introduced to us my Michelle Sheehan. You may remember her from the step interval class, and if she is new to you, you are in for a treat. Piloxing is a unique blend of Pilates and Boxing which and it’s a core intensive program. You cannot be afraid to sweat if you are going to take this class.
For those who have been taking STRIDE with Diana and myself, you will see that we have changed this program to Cardio Hip Hop. Nothing has changed besides the name, so continue to keep dancing off those calories.
Happy Spring and Enjoy the Change!
