“You should write a weekly blog for people to follow!” Yup, that’s what someone said to me today. My first thought was “WHY? What’s so intriguing about my life?” Then I thought about it and it’s not about what’s intriguing, it’s about what’s normal. So what’s normal? Crazy. Crazy is normal!
Okay, so you all know I am a new mom. Most everyone thinks I am a super human, super mom exercise physiologist who just dropped the lbs the moment I had my son. Are you kidding? Oh man, that is so not the case. Yes, loving fitness makes the journey a bit more enjoyable, but trying to fit it into my life now as a full time working mother? Welcome to crazyville.
So my purpose in writing this blog is not to lecture you on what you should or shouldn’t be doing, but just to provide a little insight and comedy and share my story with you. Be warned, what I always do is not the right thing, but all I can do is try. I try to fit it all in. I try to be a good wife, good mother, a supportive friend, advance my career, exercise, and oh yes, I try to shower once in a while too!
I hope you look forward to what you are about to read. It may not be pretty, but it is pretty real!
My first official blog entry will be next week. I do not know the end of the story yet, but I can tell you that it begins with my son spitting green peas all over the place, buying a Christmas tree that is too big for our living room, and having to sub a few extra group fitness classes. Oh and my husband was away on business all week….piece of cake! Great. Now I want cake.
Tune in next week to the first official blog of a week in the life of Sarah C.! I wonder if this will be a best seller…..
