TRX team is a hot topic at the club. Most staff and members keep asking: ‘what is it?!’
While we have tried our best, we know that it is a tough concept to grasp and even harder to explain. Here is a brief description of what you can expect if you decide to give TRX team a try!
TRX team is a small group class that involves using a suspension trainer, a mat and you! (Not sure what a suspension trainer is? Stop by the new Synrgy system in the fitness center to check it out!).
Exercises are done using your own body weight, making it easier on your joints. Every exercise incorporates ‘all core, all the time’. When done properly, EVERY exercise will incorporate core stability and strength.
But a stronger core is just one of the many benefits you’ll notice with TRX team. Each class is generally a full body workout with an extra focus on one specific muscle group such as back, chest, or legs. If you sign up and stick with it, you’ll soon notice improvements in balance, stability, coordination, agility and of course, strength!
Still having trouble following? That’s okay! Starting Sunday, October 7th, we will be offering FREE demo classes to help those who are unfamiliar with TRX team, fall in love with it just as we have! Some classes will run in the evening, some in the morning, but all of them will be held in our private studio, also known as The Arena, so you can get the full TRX team experience!
